As the Application Security Engineer on the IT Security and Technology team, you’ll lead, manage, and build application security solutions.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivering solutions that meet security needs, integrate application security into our DevOps pipeline, automate security as code and enable successful detection and response to any and all threats in our environment. If you have the chops to drive and improve our application security posture in a transformative methodology, this may be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and incubate emerging technology and open source products across all platforms enabling creative solutions that provide integration of security as a key service for all solutions.
  • Work to modernize our existing tech stacks and create solutions that further our application security posture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to find areas of opportunities for automation.
  • Partner with architects, product owners, and software engineers to drive the implementation of new applications.
  • Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack development tools and technologies. 
  • Lead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into AWS environments and provide operational support for the applications enabling security as a service.
  • Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 7-10 years experience in software development 
  • 4-6 years experience leading full stack development teams
